Hublot watch company has recently signed one of the most prestigious agreements in its history becoming the Official Timekeeper for the next two FIFA World Cups in 2010 and 2014. Thus the Hublot FIFA World Cup watch is the Official watch of the FIFA World Cups. The limited edition of only 100 pieces resembles the Hublot Classic Fusion and has the FIFA World Cup Trophy on the dial.

The last fact is not accidental. It is the first time in the history of the FIFA World Cup that a horology brand like Hublot becomes the Official FIFA Timekeeper having presence on the substitution board. So in commemoration of this significant event, Hublot is now launching the official licensed Hublot FIFA World Cup watch reflecting the gold of the coveted FIFA World Cup Trophy.

The opening race of the 2010-season of the American Le Mans Series (ALMS) is under the watch of Alpina Genève horology - the Official Timekeeper of the event since 2009. This year the 58th race, the most grueling endurance race in North America, took place from March 17-20, 2010 on Sebring International Raceway in Florida, USA.

As the Council announced, "Since this premier event is the only four-star, three-day event in the Americas, it brings international attention to Lexington and the Bluegrass each spring, while attracting crowds in excess of 100,000."

Officially sponsored by Rolex Watch Company, Kentucky 3 Day Event attracts many of the world's best horses and riders to champion for $250,000 money prize.

Of course not every combination that competes at the Four Star level will be chosen to represent the U.S. but again the Rolex Four Star Championship, $200,000 in prize money and a Rolex Watch make the competition important in its own right and mark the high point of any U.S. rider's career.

Seiko 29er & 49er World Championship Regatta 2010 on Grand Bahama was held from January 2nd - 9th.

Freeport, Grand Bahama, welcomed more than 150 sailors converged on these shores to compete in this prestigious sailing event. Grand Bahama Sailing Club and 29er & 49er Int. Class Associations along with the Bahamas Sailing Association hosted the world class event, which was headquartered at Viva Wyndham Fortuna Beach.

Countries represented included USA, Italy, Germany, Argentina, Denmark, Australia, Norway, Canada, France, Cayman Islands, Croatia, and Great Britian with a total of 70 registrants in the 29er class. In the 49er class Mexico, Portugal, Czechoslovakia, Austria, China, Ireland, Spain, and Ukraine in addition to those mentioned above with 63 entrants.
