I’m happy to announce the appearance of the new 2LMX Horology brand and their yet first brainchild 2LMX Ultimate Horology Watch - an amazingly sophisticated mechanical timepiece. That news made me get up early in the morning and write about it.

The model has no name yet, but I’m sure it will come soon. The former head of Patek Philippe museum in Geneva and the present director of the Art examining bureau Arnaud Tellier is the main designer and the new born 2LMX Ultimate Horology Watch. I’m not sure if he was incubating the watch design for so long but I know that he had become kin on horology since he was 7 years old. Tiffany & Co. watches are pleased to present their new creation Atlas Cocktail diamond watch in black. The dial of the watch being covered in black lacquer, the diamonds fully cut and the Roman numerals placed along the edges give the new Tiffany & Co. Atlas Cocktail the lustrous and glamorous glow.

The distinctive numerals are prudently borrowed from those on the iconic Tiffany & Co. watches above the entrance of the 5th Avenue boutique in Manhattan. Though, the new Atlas Cocktail in black presents them in a modern and stylish interpretation, adding a bit of luxurious radiance. The numbers XII, III, VI and IX indicate hours and are set within a circular dial atop the high-quality saphire crystal, which has anti-reflective surface. Except being an aesthetically pleasant calendar, the watch shows the current date, day and month, and also the moon phase. It’s all well presented in rose gold case. Automatic Caliber CFB 1966 which powers the new Manero MoonPhase watch allows for numerous indications. Somewhere at the top, next to the indications of 10 and 2 o’clock the face of a watch reveals the date (day and month). And in the middle near the 6 o’clock you can see the moon phase indication, consisting of a gold-colored moon disc shining on a blue background. From 16 to 21 January 2011 at the International Conference Centre in Geneva the second Geneva Time Exhibitions was pursued. The independent watch brands presented their original and creative work to the public during the exhibition.

However as the first, Organizers of the Second Geneva Time Exhibitions were Florence Noel (a specialist in communication luxury brands) and Dominic Frankin (organizer of exhibitions and events). Famous auction house Christie’s was a partner. At a preliminary press conference the organizers said that above all they are guided by the objective to create optimal conditions for the realization of the products of the original watches by businesses, which do not belong to the world’s largest conglomerates.
